The seminar "Immagini sonore dalla Tempesta di William Shakespeare" was held on December 6, 2024, in the Aula Don Tonino Bello at Palazzo Chiaia-Napolitano of the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The event was introduced by Maddalena Pennacchia (University of Roma Tre) and Alessandra Squeo (University of Bari), and chaired, in two sessions, by Mariacristina Petillo (University of Bari) and Maristella Gatto (University of Bari).
The seminar, which included the presentation of the PRIN 2022 project website “Applied Shakespeare” (https://www.appliedshakespeare.org/en/), featured contributions from Sergio Bonanzinga (University of Palermo) and Maddalena Pennacchia (University of Roma Tre) in the first session, and from Mariacristina Petillo (University of Bari) and Pierpaolo Martino (University of Bari) in the second.
Two musical performances were also presented: one by Maddalena Pennacchia (voice) and Pierpaolo Martino (double bass), and another by Gianna Montecalvo (Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory of Bari, voice) and Pierpaolo Martino (double bass).
The seminar was organised as part of the PRIN 2022 project "Applied Shakespeare: Developing New Educational Models for Transversal Competences and Life-skills". P.I.
